Through Positive Impactz, at-risk and formerly incarcerated youth and adults will have an opportunity to rebuild their lives, gain valuable experience, and become contributing citizens to the community. Our program is designed for positive outcomes.
For community businesses, Positive Impactz offers access to experienced and skilled laborers. Positive Impactz has a team of laborers skilled in multiple areas of construction, facility maintenance, Concrete form/finishing and Fill Import. As new businesses join our effort, we will expand to other areas of employment.
Positive Impactz provides long-term employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for participants’ economic stability. We focus primarily on the following:
Community Re-Entry-which include assisting participant with identifying employment interest and skills training.
Prevention/Diversion-which includes connecting participant with mentor to promote positive reunification with the workforce and productive participation in community development.
As a former military man (US Navy) and Pastor of Church of God Worship Center, I am a lifelong resident and native son of Apopka. I have been married to Phadra Wright Williams since 1986, and together we have 4 children and 4 grandkids. Currently, I am employed with Orange County Public Schools as a Middle School Language Arts Teacher.

I believe all things are possible through Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised in Apopka Florida. As a young child, my family relocated to Brooklyn, New York. I have roots in Bedford Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy), East New York and Canarsie, all communities of Brooklyn. I started my professional career with the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs as a clerk and worked my way up the ladder to become Deputy Director of the Licensing Division. After 15 years of service, I relocated back to Florida in 2004. I later gained employment with A.C.T.I.O.N. Inc as a Community Coordinator, State Of Florida Child Support Enforcement as a Revenue Specialist II Court Team, Orange County Corrections as a Corrections Release Specialist for Inmate Records (Booking/Release/ Court Team), Osceola Corrections as a Pretrial Release Officer and Covenant House as a P/T Case Manager and Residential Advisor. I have an unwavering compassion to help others, I believe in second chances and am honored to be part of this organization.
My natural gift is that of “service”, a compassion to help others. My hobbies are building and fixing stuff, gardening, bicycling and mentoring. I love all animals but my primary loves are dogs and goats. My forever goal is to make a positive impact in as many lives as possible. At the end of each day, I pray GOD is pleased with what I have done and give me another day to do even more.
